Nick Wood is the Owner/Manager of Conquer Termites South Central. I have been in this industry for 3 years and a lot more coming. I really do have a passion in this industry and I enjoy the work immensely. I have done over 300 chemical treatments with all different style of houses & commercial properties.
When I left school in 1996 I had an apprenticeship as a Fitter & Turner and once I finished that I travelled to London and work there for about four years seeing the world. When I came home at the end 2004 I was hired as a draftsman/estimator. After about two years I became bored working in the office so I decided to start my own lawn mowing business. After one year I realised it was too seasonal and I was sick of talking to myself all the time.
Conquer Termites
I decided I would like to give termites ago, lucky for me a rang Conquer Termites and I asked them if I could volunteer one day a week for one month to see if I liked it.
After the month was over Conquer Termites decided to give me a trainee ship. It only took me 8 months to get my Termite License.
I have a real passion in doing my best to keep termites out of homes, I will do what ever it takes to protect your biggest investment. One reason I love this job so much is because it always keeps you thinking, I really do enjoy the challenge as no job is ever the same in my industry.
