Customer Finds Termites in Wardrobe – Meadowbrook – 4133

It was a lovely day in Meadowbrook when I received a call from a customer wanting a termite inspection as they had just found termites (white ants) in the wardrobe. While conducting the termite inspection I didn’t find any signs of termite activity in the yard, which isn’t uncommon. Termites will build little mud tunnels underneath the ground and eventually make their way into your home.

As an experienced termite inspector we tell all our customers in and around Meadowbrook to check their house regularly for any termite activity. Meadowbrook is well known for termites so keep an eye out for Conquer Termites trucks. The customer found termite mud in the wardrobe (please see photo taken by the customer) but unfortunately after further inspection a termite nest was detected under the window. Termites love nesting under windows as there is plenty of moist timbers and it’s close to the ground.

The customer from Meadowbrook was very shocked there was a termite nest in their house but the good news is that we had found them and it will be treated accordingly. The home owner was impressed with our thorough services and satisfied that the problem would be solved so they booked in a full termite treatment using the transfer poison Termidor. One month after we install a chemical treatment we always come back to make sure the house is cleared of termites.
